Girls Who Wine - Okanagan, Part 2

"How many bottles did you buy?  28?  I thought you said you stopped drinking?????"

The sun, truly, was like a yellow balloon.  It floated lightly and brightly above the Girls Who Wine as they embarked on their next adventures in Kelowna.  So, the theme song of this post is from one of my absolute favourite albums of 2010-2011, Twin Shadow's debut gem, "Forget".

The city of Kelowna, or "grizzly bear" in the Okanagan first nation people's language, is about 3.5 - 4 hours away from Vancouver and is nestled in the southern region of the Okanagan Valley.  The District of West Kelowna, is a separate political entity, and contains some of the most popular wineries in Canada.

We rested our laurels at the Delta Grand Okanagan.  This was light years better than the Penticton Lakeside Resort.  The view, the pool, the room - this made it feel like a vacation.
